        • A flush will prevent any old contaminants from damaging the pipework of your new boiler.

A power flush is a chemical cleaner that works to remove any debris, rust and sludge.

That has built up within your boiler and central heating system,

Power flushing will restore the full circulation of water,

mproving the output of your boiler and radiators, and will lower your gas bills

If left to build up, the contaminants will slowly reduce the efficiency of your central heating system,

Eventually leading to a boiler breakdown.

    What does flushing involve?

A qualified gas safe heating engineer will cleanse your central heating system with a flushing machine.

This uses high flow and low pressure to circulate high strength cleansing

hemicals including a descaler, a corrosion inhibitor and a sludge crust breaker.

Targeting rust, sludge, limescale and debris such as sand,

when the treatment is completed water will be able to circulate freely throughout your central heating system.

What are the benefits of a power flushing?

Increased lifespan of the central heating system and boiler.
    Increased efficiency.
    Reduced risk of breakdown.
    Elimination of kettling (banging noises).
    Peace of mind.

How will I know when I need a flush?

While a flush isn’t a solution for every central heating fault,

if you notice any of the signs below, talk to your local engineer:

    Cold patches on radiators.
    Noisy boiler or heating system.
Discoloured water when you bleed the radiators.
Radiators are slow to heat up.
    Cloudy tap water.

    Power Flushing

Central heating flushing is recommended if you’re installing a new energy efficient condensing boiler.

    Without upgrading your whole system.

A flush will prevent any old contaminants from damaging the pipework of your new boiler.
